About Me

Developer with a creative passion

My Background

I am a Front-End Web Development Professional with a creative mind-set who is quick to grasp new ideas and concepts. I am passionate about bringing ideas to life through different coding languages and I enjoy challenging myself to finish tasks to the best of my ability. Since a career change in 2016, I have focused on becoming a specialist as a Front End Web Developer, learning new skills and technologies that compliment my interest in design and functionality.

During my first two roles, I have had experience in a wide variety of technologies and languages including HTML, CSS/SASS and jQuery. I am now looking for an opportunity to enhance my skills in these areas as well as in more advanced front-end technologies and JavaScript frameworks. My aim is to be able to create, fix and develop websites and applications in the direction of a client’s vision and goal

I love to develop

I believe myself to be highly motivated and focused in achieving my goals and ambitions including being a valuable member of a successful team. Along with the technical aspect of FE Development, I enjoy the creative element, and in addition to my skills with HTML, CSS and JavaScript I have trained with Photoshop to shorten the gap between Developer and Designer.

My Interests

From a young age running has been my passion. I have needed to maintain a high level of discipline working alongside my coach with whom I have developed a close rapport based on mutual respect. Training alongside my coach has taught me the importance of constructive criticism, an integral aspect of running that has ensured I have succeeded in accomplishing my goals. I am committed to reaching my potential in the mile as this has been one of my lifetime ambitions and aim to complete a marathon one day. I am also bilingual, being fluent in Norwegian along with intermediate levels of Italian and Spanish.

  • Just IT (2015)

    Development Professional Programme

The Just IT DPP offers the opportunity to not only learn how to build websites with popular code, but also to understand the programming languages from the ground up. I feel this gives me the best approach possible, helping me understand how to fix and troubleshoot as well as create.

  • Middlesex University (2008)

    Sport & Exercise Science Degree

My degree gave me an insight into how the body works, and the affect it has on the body’s performance. I feel this is similar to how different programming languages act mechanically to produce an outcome we see on the screen, whether it be design or an interactive sight.
